Held on December 13-15, 2024, the Brave1 "Happy New Fear" hackathon focused on identifying cutting-edge technological solutions to destroy enemy vehicles and strategically mine key enemy routes. The event brought together over 200 innovators, along with representatives from government agencies, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, manufacturing companies, and other key figures in the defense innovation ecosystem.
Throughout the hackathon, 47 teams from Ukraine, guided by military officers and defense technology experts, presented their groundbreaking projects in the following areas:
strategic intelligence;
strategic weapon systems; and
remote and programmable mining.
The conference also outlined the priority technologies for development in 2025, including missiles, anti-Shahed systems, lasers, surface and underwater drones, drone swarms, autonomous weapons systems, carrier drones, Ukrainian Mavic, and guided munitions.
