Ukraine and Denmark signed agreement to expand cooperation under the Danish Model
On February 24, 2025, Ukraine and Denmark signed an agreement to develop defence cooperation under the “Danish Model”. The agreement focuses on strengthening Ukraine’s defence production capacity through direct investments, technology transfers, and industrial partnerships.
The Danish Model provides funding from Denmark to support joint military equipment production with Ukraine, focusing on key areas such as artillery systems, drone technology, and long-range precision weapons. Denmark’s commitment includes not only financial support but also expert assistance in implementing high-tech defence projects in Ukraine. This partnership is expected to accelerate the localization of military production in Ukraine and enhance Ukraine’s self-sufficiency in arms manufacturing.
