Aequo acts for DuPont in a patent cancellation dispute

Aequo has successfully represented DuPont, one of the world's largest chemical companies, in an IP litigation case regarding a hostile attempt to invalidate one of its core patent in Ukraine. The case arose after two opponents filed applications to challenge DuPont’s patent rights over some agrochemical products.

DuPont’s arguments were supported by thorough expert reports, which proved that the patented invention meets the patentability criteria (inventive step and industrial applicability). Due to Aequo's efforts, the opposing party withdrew its claim.
